Our in-depth knowledge of each market offers a reliable source to help you make rental decisions, as well as maximize your rental revenue. Our goal is to make sure you receive the personal attention and service required to make your investment a success.

Here's a general overview of the steps it takes to own a vacation home managed by Resort Home Destinations:



Step 1: Contact us before buying!
Our team of property management specialists are your best resource when it comes to assessing your options when purchasing a new vacation home for the purpose of entering it into a vacation rental program. Simply put, we know what rents! Contact the Resort Home Destination's property management or real estate office in a particular destination, and our team will provide one-on-one consultation to help you make the best investment decisions.



Step 2: Review Agreement with our Homeowner Relations Specialist
Vacation home ownership requires close attention to details. We manage these details for you, including housekeeping, maintenance, and bill payment. Our team will review all aspects of your homeowner agreement, introduce you to the many services we offer, all relevant fees and revenue split terms, and show you specific examples of our national and international marketing materials.



Step 3: We'll Gather Information about Your Vacation Home
If you're interested in the program, a local representative will visit your home and record the details, from the number of bathrooms and the types of bedding, to the kitchen appliances and entertainment systems. The most important tool for properly marketing your vacation home as a rental property is an accurate description of the unit, its amenities, size, location, and proximity to area attractions, as well as a complete photo gallery. Your unit will be rated using our ratings system, and all information will be used to market your property in print marketing applications and on the web.



Step 4: We'll Enter Your Home in our Reservations System
After the agreement is signed and all information has been gathered, your vacation home is ready to be loaded into our reservations database. We'll show you how you can block-off time for your personal use, through our online reservations tool. At this point, your home will be placed in our marketing promotions cycle, and our housekeeping and maintenance staff will begin making regular visits, ensuring your home remains clean and well-maintained.



Step 5: We Market your Property & Handle all Guest Services
After we enter your property in our reservations system, we market it online and through a number of other marketing resources, take the customers' reservations through our call centers, handle customer service and check-in of guests, conduct all housekeeping for guest stays, and cut you a check each month for rental income. It's that easy. Our homeowners never have to deal with guest services or guest complaints.



Step 6: Finished! Enjoy the Benefits of Being a Resort Home Destinations Homeowner!
It's time to start seeing the financial benefits of owning a vacation rental home. Each month, Resort Home Destination's t sends you a check for all revenue earned during the previous month. You'll also receive a detailed financial statement, listing the revenue earned for each property you own. In addition, once in the program, our exclusive Home Owner Perks program gives you and your immediate family significant discounts on rental rates at other vacation home properties in geographic locations outside of where your vacation home is located!
